Yesterday we drove over to Sölvadalur to fetch 16 of our youngsters that went over there early this summer. The horses where Sif, Óskadís, Sveifla, Fröken, Djarfur, Glóðar, Jórunn, Glóð, Saga, Sýn, Vænting, Stjörnudís, Sylvía, Kolfreyja, Rák and Penta. And owners, no I havent had the time to take pictures of them yet. Today we went to Melgerðismelar to see the horse gathering there and to show 3 horses in a sale show, Mánadís, Gormur and Kátína.

Than I also took few pictures of the stallion Yggur that we have for sale.

NOTICE: Kolbrá was vet checked today and she has " spatt " but dose not limp or show anything with bending test but because of this she is on a very low price now !

On Sunday evening two girls from Sweden, Jessica and Daniella came here to work and learn about horses for 5 weeks. They are intending school in Sweden for horses and this is their work exsperiance. I took picture of them watching Auðbjörn when starting the training on the black 4 year old stallion Svarri from brúnir.

We at Hólakot have two new stallions for sale ! One is 5 year old judged for combination 8.33 at the age of 4 and the other stallion ( grey ) is 3 years old and very promising. Soon coming up under " for sale " until than ask for info in email !

Now I have added 3 new horses on my sale page, Kolbrá and Dimmbrá fully sisters and than Kátína, so take a look. New horse for sale as well stallion after Gári from Auðsholtshjáleiga judged for combination 8.33 at the age of 4 and now he is 5 years old. Pictures and video soon coming up.

On Thursday I had a nice visit from my friend Unni from Norway and her friend Hege also from Norway ( nice to meet you Hege ). We went to pick up Hervar in a stallion field on a farm not so far away from us and Unni and Hege came along. Auðbjörn took Glæsir in the trailer so we could let them follow him to the stable where we could catch Hervar and put in up in the trailer. They where 8 all together in the field and all 1 year old and 4 of them followed Glæsir, and they where  Hervar, Stirnir, Gandur and Nabbi. I took pictures of them coming through the gait and again at the farm Halldórsstaðir, where Auðbjörn and Nabbi refreshed their memory on the game they always play. I managed to take pictures of that as well.

Now the Autumn has come in all it's glory. The weather has bin blowing a lot here so most of the work has bin done inside the riding hall until today.
