Today the foal show was held and there where 42 stallion foals competing and 24 mare foals competing. Only top 3 got prices in both groups and none of ours did make it, but we were though a bit disappointed that Dalur didnt make it !? Better luck next time Few days ago I got these pictures sent from Annica in Sweden,  she bought two mares of us last year, Eldey and Heppni. Keep on sending us news and pictures of the horses you people have bought from us ?

Now I have put out video of few foals like Dalur, Djörfung, Gína, Öfund, Heppni, Hrifning and I will put out video of Stirnir today. It is so much fun to see these young foals and they are so friendly in their box. They are all togehter in one very big box just for 2 weeks and than it should be ok. to send them out again to their mothers ?

Today we let the foals each and everyone run inside the riding hall to see witch one we will take to the show next weekend. Of course they are not all showing much but the foals that where most intersesting to see this morning where Dalur, Hrifning, Öfund and Djörfung and than Heppni and Gína to. All of them are Randvers offsprings exept Hrifning. Here are pictures of all the foals and than I will also add pictures with them on the page.

Today we took the rest of the foals away from their mothers and we also took three other foals inside with them that we are thinking of taking to a foals show next weekend ? So there are 16 foals inside now and what is special is that there are 7 pintos of these 16 foals. The foals are all behaving very good and we didnt have to work hard to take them inside or anything, they are all calm and nice. So tomorrow and on Tuesday we will let them run in the riding hall and see what they will show us to decide witch one we will take to the show next weekend. On Friday 6 horse left our farm to their new owners and new farms. Than we had some more room in the stable so we took inside Mánadís, Bláskjár, Bjarki, Stilling and Sara. Still we need to sell more horses to have room for others that are waiting outside still. Few days ago we decided to exept an offer that we got from our friend, Kine in Norway, that she offered in Kringla. So Kringla is now sold and is going to further training to Olil Amble. Than in Desember I desided to sell my good horse Blesi, to my other friend in Norway, Helen, and he is now soon leaving to Norway. Than I have sold two grey mares, Röst that was on my page and a mare for my friend Pétur in Skagafjörður and she is also  grey , her name is Orka. Röst is going to USA and Orka is going to Norway. Now the weather is finally  ok. and not blowing like crazy so we managed to record Fló today and I have put out some pictures and video of her. Fló is very promising, big and intersting mare for sale, with good pedigree.

These pictures I got from Tessa ( that was here last summer ) but she bought Þylja and they are now in Holland. Than I got 1 picture from Kristín that bought Tengill and he is at the smallest fjord here in Iceland, called Mjóifjörður. It is always fun and nice to get pictures of the horses at their new home.

Just now I got these pictures send from Nathalie in Norway of her and her horse Jorekur that she bought from my friend ( Friðrik ) through us. It is always so nice to have these updates from people that have bought horses from or through us, so to all of you that have bought horses from us, feel free to send us pictures and updates !

Why do I write in English ? That is because even though I like my language very much and is proud of it, poeple in another countrys do not understand it very well but we the Icelandic people can read the English very well. Also most of our customers ( though few from time to time Icelanders as well ) are living somewhere else than on Iceland. So I hope that you people here in Iceland will give me credit for thinking about the foreigners because I know you all are fit to read and understand English  So I hope we still get many visitors to our page both here on Iceland as from  foreigners all over the world ? I once where thinking about how much fun it would be to have over 100.000 thousand visitors on our page in less than 1 year and we seems to be heading that way, so again thank you all for visiting our page

Today Sigrún Brynjarsdóttir, that is born and raised at Akureyri but lives in USA, was visiting us and trying some very good horses here. Saddly I forgot to take pictures of her but I will take myself a promission to use one of her own pictures when she is riding her 1. price very good stallion Parker from Sólheimum that we are so lucky to own 6 offsprings after. Our very good stallion Randver is after him, Sveifla, Freisting and Hespa also and than we have two young geldings, Glaður and Bratti after him to. All these offsprings have high movements like their father.
