Last night we drove 3 mares to Moli from Skriðu. Jörp, ( mother of Kringla, Drottning, Gola, Stormur and Stirnir ) and if we will be lucky we will have another Kringla ? Than we took my mare Mánadís after ófeigur 882 and than Hvellhetta that we have sold to our friend Rikke in Denmark. Yesterday Auðbjörn and the girls where cleening a bit arround the stable so now it looks quite good. We are cutting the gras today and hopefully we will be able to dry it and have it wrapped up in the big heyballs on wednesday !? I took pictures of my mare Tign ( Moladaughter ) and her mother ( Toppa ) before they went in the big field with the other mares that are already pregnant. Toppa was with Rökkvi from Hárlaugsstaðir. I also managed to take picture of Randver running free on trot. Randver is going later in this month to the super trainer Sigurður Sigurðarson in Þjóðólfshaga for training. 

Why is the weather not better, hum?? It has bin so cold and also some rain and windy to for way to long time now and when august has begin, the summer is almost over in Iceland !!! Well the weather forcast says it will be sunny and warm here next week and we need it because we are going to cut the gras than for the winter !! This weekend on Iceland is called " verslunarmannahelgin " and it is the most travelling weekend of them all. So it is good to just stay home now  In the afternoons we bring the horses to a field to eat some grass ofr few hours and than we take them back home for the next training day, and on thursday night i recorded them when they where coming home again  Here is a small video of that when they are arriving home and i made slow otherwise it seemed to be to fast !

Well the weather came a big surprise today ! It was sun and warm and mabey it is all because Nine sneesed 3 times yesterday at the dinner table ??? Hehe. Well i took some more pictures today of Sókrates the 16 year old children horse that we have owned from since he was a foal, and i also managed to take of Kringla arriving home today and also of Stígandi and soon he will be ready for sale !!! He is 4 gaited easy with good movements !! Sókrates is in no shape at all but he is just so amasing how he goes and his movements !!

Today we took new pictures and videos of a few horses. There is also new young gelding on the salespage. The video i took is of the new gelding for sale, Gjafar, and than Selur, Þylja and small trot of Bláskjár. The new pictures are of Kringla, Gusa and Næla. Things are going good here now with the training and some of the young horses are getting some time off now. Than we will soon take some young horses and start theire training. There is also an 12 year old grey mare for sale sister to the landsmót winner Hlýr from Vatnsleysu, good mare on a very good price !

Now there is a new mare for sale and is very intersting for breeding/ competitions/ riding. Look at her under " for sale " ? New video of the young stallion Litfari a very intersting young stallion with good pedigree and a very special color to !! THAN WE NEED HELP FOR NEXT WINTER WITH THE KIDS AND THE HOUSE + SOME HELP ARROUND THE HORSES AND STABLE WORK !! ONLY SOMEONE THAT LIKES KIDS AND CAN DO SOME HOUSE WORKS AND KNOWS TO BE ARROUND HORSES IS WANTED   ALSO ANOTHER PERSON TO TRAIN AND BREAKE IN THE HORSES SHOULD BE ABLE TO START SOON !

This weekend or on saturday we went on a small family reunion not so far away where we live. It was really nice to meet all my cousins and exspecially the one that lives in Sweden and came all this way and he brought his girlfriend with him now and tomorrow they are coming on a horseback here  Today i took a pictures of Vonardís, Sveiflu, Hvellhettu and Laufa. Vonardís og Sveifla are 4 years old mares that belong to us and Laufi is a stallion after Orri and Hvellhetta a mare that we reasantly sold. The weather hasnt bin really good these last few days and weeks but i am hoping it will get better so we can cut and dry our gras for a storage for the up coming winter !? Last night we took Nine, Tessa and Nanna with us to the hot spring on a farm near by. They all went in exept me ( Ester ) and they enjoyed it very much. The training is going very well and many of the horses are very interesting and developing quite good. Snót was sold yesterday and she will leave to Norway probably in august or a next available flight. Sæla and Gæfa went to Rökkvi from Hárlaugsstaðir and Toppa also but she is coming home on thursday, she went in june to him in Skagafjörður. I will also have to pick up two mares that where with Galsi from Sauðárkrókur on thursday to. I took some pictures of the foals Stirnir, Nabbi, Öfund and Glóðar. Nabbi is a funny foal and a stallion prospect son of Moli. Glóðar and Öfund are both for sale a very bautiful foals with good movements. I also wanted to put the picture out long time ago when my webpage was exactly at 22222 visiting

This weekend we had to take two mares to Rökkvi and that are Gæfa and Sæla. Soon we will also have to pick up Toppu and she was with Rökkvi to but in Skagafjörður. Today we where recording some of our horses so i will put out some new videos. I took video of Gæfu on pas and wow what she can pas !!! Than i took of Gjósku, Grímu, Von and Þylju and also short of Drottningu and Glæsi.

I came home from Gran Canarias on wednesday night and i am starting to get busy again. It was really nice to visit my oldest sister ( not so old though ) and stay there for 1 week relaxing ! The weather here was really good while i was away and things have bin running smoothly here. Nanna came from Denmark yesterday and she startit working today and the first day was very good. I took a new video of the mare Snót and i will put it out under her name and she is really good and is always getting better and better. Here is also picture of Nanna that i just took  The kittens have opened theire eyes and they are very fat to and cute.

Now i am at Gran Canaria and the sun is not shining as she was supposed to, hum... I wasnt going to write anything before i came home again so this will be short ! One foal was sold last night and that is Tengill. Than we are advertising for help next winter in training and breaking in horses.
