We where driving arround looking at some horses, buying and picking up horses we had already bought. We also spend the night at Gauksmýri and what a wonderful place that is. We bought this wonderful mare foal with very good pedigree. Her movements are also very good. Than we picked up Glaður home son of Parker and Gæfa from Flaga ( he is brother of our stallion foal Gandur and Geysir his fully brother ) they are both after Gammur from Steinnesi. We will next weekend pick up another foal after Dagur that we sold to Sweden this summer and mabey this special mare to ?? Here are pictures of our new mare foal, Hrifning and Glaður, taken today.

Everything is just quiet here now and only few horses home. We had good visitors from the east of Iceland last weekend, our good friends Hjörvar and Sigrún Júlía, thank you for your visit  I have now put out three new video of Randver, Þylja and Kofri ( our new stallion ). Randver is not in any shape but quite good though and his mind is so outstainding.

These last days we have bought three new horses. First we bought this good looking mare after Feykir from Hafsteinsstaðir and her mother has 1. price for riding and total 7.92. Than we bought two brothers from a judged mare Gæfa from Flaga and she is daughter of Kolfinnur from Kjarnholtum and she has got 9 for tolt in a breeding show. We bought 3 year old gelding after her and Parker from Sólheimum and than her foal from this summer after Gammur from Steinnesi and the foal is black and white pinto with blase. He is a potential stallion prospect because he has 5 year old very bautiful fully brother with an extra high and good movements. Tomorrow we will pick up the mare and than next weekend we will pick up the son of Parker and Gæfa. The foal will stay a bit longer with his mother. I helped my friend in Norway to buy the stallion brother of our new foal. Here are pictures of them all.

Yesterday we picked up Mánadís and her foal Öfund ( for sale ) and she is in foal with Moli from Skriðu, and also Jörp and her foal Stirnir but she dosent seem to be in foal  Now all our mares are back home from stallions.  Pictures coming up later of them all, Hæra,  Glóðar, Mánadís, Öfund, Jörp and Stirnir.

Yesterday three new horses came to our farm and they are our new mare Hespa, daughter of Parker from Sólheimum, and her marefoal Skrauta ( owned by Sabine ) and than 3 year old stallion son of our mare Reising and Keilir ( owned by our friend Gunn-Iren ) Today they went outside, Hespa and Skrauta, but Kofri will be inside. It was a good weather partly today and i took few pictures of the horses enjoying the weather. We are still looking for someone to work at our farm this winter, starting soon.
