Two new foals are born, and guess what ? Both black and white mares  Snilld ( daughter of Otur from Sauðárkrókur ) has  given birth to her pinto marefoal ( father Randver ) with two stars on her forhead, and than Toppa ( daughter of Galdur from Sauðárkrókur )has also given brith the same day ( second of june ) her black and white pinto marefoal ( father 1.Price Moli from Skriðu son of Glampi ) We have named the mares Heppni ( daughter of Snilld and it is Auðbjörns foal ) and than Tign ( daughter of Toppu and it is my foal, Ester )  How nice to wake up with this, two new pinto mare foals are born in this sunny weather to ?? So i have forgiven my old mare, Dúddu , for given me this black mare  Ofcourse i took my camera with me and because the mares where not at the same place and we saw that Snilld had given birth, we rushed to the field where she is with other mares and the proud father to, Randver, to check the gender and take some pictures and than we decided to look and see if anything was happening with Toppa to and what a surprise that was  So Helen my dear friend, Ýmir has a new baby sister, Tign  I cant stop smiling thats why i put all these smiling faces up here !

Finally the summer has arrived, 18-20 degrees here today  Dagur is sold and we took him to the vet clinic yesterday morning and we also took Edgar and Randver for an x-rays and they are both healthy and fine, no SPATT !! Tomorrow María and Anna Kristín are going on a riding class and on sunday the whole family are going to Akureyri to compet there. Tesse and Nina has arrived and we are very positive about them and hope they will do a good job like they seems to be villing to do ? I took a picture of them and even though they where traveling the whole day they smiled at the camera

Three new foals are born after Randver, all stallion foals two black and white pinto and one red dun. Now there are ten foals born that he is the father of, and there are  five mares and five stallions and five pinto to. So it is equally colored and non colored and the gender to ! So look at the pictures under foals 2007 and there you can see the foals after Randver.

Now there is new pictures of the stallion Dagur from Höfða and a video under his colomn. Dagur is on special price now because he need to be sold for personla reasons. Rut is also for sale now on a very good price. She needs to be sold quickly to for personal reasons to, so if you are looking for a very good breeding/competition mare, look at her ? Now it is only very few days until Nina and Tesse are coming to work for us and we are gathering the horses together that needs to be trained and ridden. So on the next few months there will be planty of ridden promising horses for sale and also many foals after Randver. Dont hesitate to contact us about any horse you want or are looking for in a horse !

We where sorting the horses tonight and dewiding them into few groups and into different fenchis. We took all the young mares and two pregnant mares and two that already had theire foals and put  them together in one BIG fench. Than we left 4 pregnant mares into one fench with one mare with her foal and one that will go to a stallion later like the other mares. We took the one year old stallions that will be castratet and also the once that wont be castratet and put them into two different fenchis. Than we needed to take Randver home for a few hours from his fench and his mares, and when we took him back my husband drove with him on the car and he run with him and we did the same thing when we took him home to. This stallion is so amasing and his mind is so GREATE that it is almost unreal. Few days ago we also took him inside for over night because of the bad weather and when my husband took him back, he let Önnu Kristínu sit on him with no problems at all !!! There are few foals already born of many that will be born this summer after him, and most of them are for sale so dont hasitate to contact us and buy a foal that Randver is father of ?? It is a good investamant for the future. There are also few other foals for sale that have different fathers. Here is the video of Randver going back to his mares.

Now the waiting is finally over, the fitfh foal is born How unlucky can i get in my wishings about the foals,hum?? I was hoping for a black and white pinto marefoal, ofcourse, but nooooo... it had be only black but mare so....50% was ok. but the coloring not as i hoped for  This is so strange with my mare, Dúdda, she is black with 2 big stars and one eye blue ( ring eye ) and she has with 3 pinto stallions given me 2 black and one with the same color as she is !?? But she is equal with the gender, 5 mares and 5 geldings  She is a cute one this little black mare of mine, and i have named her Gína. All of Dúddu offsprings are named with the letter G to begin theire names with exept the first one.

Last night we drove to Akureyri to pick up 3 horses, mare and her foal and than one 1 year old and they will stay here for upbringing, exept the foal. Rikke in Denmark is the owner of Kjamma, she ownes Grásu and Lýsir to, and Corinna and family ownes Hrókur and they are the owner of Hugmynd that are staying here. The weather here is not so good now and we are not exspecting it to get any better until sunday or monday ? Year ago the weather was like this and i took a picture than and today also. Now the next foal will be born in the next 24 hours, and it is Dúdda that will have hers  Today i am exspecting 3 horses here for upbringing and i will mabey put some pics up ?

Most of the mothers are daughter of 1.prices stallions like Otur, Glaður, Léttir, Hilmir and Kjarval so many exiting foals for sale !! You can reed about Randver and see video of him under stallions. Here are some pics of his foals that are born already and we have only one so far and that is Djörfung ( not for sale ) and then my mother inlaw has 5 foals already, 2 stallion foals ( red and bay with 3 socks ) and 3 mares ( two black and white pinto and one red ) The two red foals are for sale and probably the 3 others to ?

Today we had visitors all the way from Swiss, Corinna, Christian Saxer and two of theire kids. They own a mare here Hugmynd and they where checking up on her. Soon theire horse Hrókur will come and stay here to. It was a really nice to have them visiting us  We took the mares home again to take Næla and Tilviljun to Askur for " pregnancy ". They will both be exsportet to Denmark in june probably and hopefully both in foal with Askur to ? Than my husband got the crasy idea to visit our neighbours farm, to get into a hot spring of water and it was both cold and windy. But they got there and i took some pics to show you.

Today we woke up very early to drive to Akureyri so María  Björk and Anna Kristín could compet in Goðamótinu. Anna Kristín was just riding freely on her on and it is more for her and the other kids on her age ( most of them older though ) to be in the game. They all got a reword for taking part. María took Selur and she competit both in tolt and 4 gaite. She got into the finals in 4 gaite with the score 4.30 and the first horse had 5.50. In tolt she was in the 6-8th place with the score 4.20 and the fifth horse in the finals had 4.30. She did not ride him with any boots on ( and normal shoes ) in the premiur round, but in the finals she put a very, very light boots on just for the look of it.
