And last but not least, here are pictures that Maj Britt send me this morning of Sjöfn and Ör that she bought from us and just landed in DK and at her home the first hours today.

Sjöfn, Ör, Spaði, Kalsi and Hreimur are all gone now. They are all going to DK and the foals are all going to same place. I took pictures of Spaði and Hreimur before they left. Now we have only 3 stallion foals left for sale and two of them Júní and Hrókur are stallion prospects both after Hófur from Varmalæk.

We went away our first holliday alone since I dont know when. We didnt go far but we had a good time. We went to Blönduós to see the young stallion Kapall from Kommu after Álfur from Selfoss and Kjarnorka from Komma ( mother to Kappi and Kaspar to name some ) and Kapall is born 2008 and we own 1 share in him. We spend two nights in a cabin at Blönduós with our friend Einar Víðir and his girl friend Sandra. Than we went on a farm not so far from Blönduós and we bought two horses there and we will put them out on our page later with pictures as well. Tomorrow morning the driver is coming to pick up 5-6 horses that are going to DK and one foal is going south. Than next Saturday is the BIG day when Auðbjörn turns 50 YEARS old. Things have bin happening but no pictures are taken to show with it. On Sunday morning my husband sold 2 stallion foals to Denmark to a woman that bought a horse from us once and liked it very much. Randalín went to the south on Monday and lended in Liege yesterday. Siggi Sig. came here on Tuesday morning and tried some of our horses but he will be training/riding Hófur for next Landsmót and maybe some upcoming shows !? Today we are exspecting guests and it is so close to Auðbjörn 50 years old birthday or 21st of November so we have enough to organize for that as well. And last but not least we have our friends Cati and Matthias helping us with advertising some of our horses for sale and they have done a VERY good job. 

Sometimes things dose take an unsuddern turn like with Freisting and Ugla. Auðbjörn owns Freisting and she was going to be his Parker breeding mare when I ( Ester ) have my Parker daughter Sveifla already in breeding. But after the video and pictures of María riding her people where interesting in buying her and he sold her. When it goes that way things go fast and she has already bin fully vet checked and payment on the way. But we also own Þrístikla after Parker and she will be really good as well so her we will keep. However this interest in Freisting is not strange come to think of it. She already has two older brother ( one fully brother ) that are doing good things in competitions, Fókus and Radíus both from Sólheimar. Than with Ugla we owned her together with our friends, Einar and Bjössi, and last night we bought them out so we now own Ugla alone and therefor we will wait with selling her. And now we have decided to offer our Harpa for sale ! She is 5 gaited judged with 1. price for combination and would be perfect either for breeding or a pace racer horse !? She is very willing and eager to go fast on pace.

Last night Caroline send me these picures of Skrúfa that she bought from us.  And one of the things she said in her email was, I quote : I´m very happy with here and have even plans to show here in breedingshow if it goes the right  way :)
So we wish her and Skrúfa all the best and hope she will show her in a breeding show. I have now added out 2 new links under Tenglasafn/weblinks one from our friend Susanne in Germany and one in Sweden from Katrin and Raino.

Today I recorded Freisting ( 5 ) and María ( 12 ) was riding her because her father has not bin feeling to good in his back. I have now added out the video.  Both Fengur and Maríkó are now sold.

The trainings are going very well here at Hólakot. Today both Perla and Stólpi was ridden outside for the first time and they are both very promising and talented. I was so lucky to be outside with the camera when Auðbjörn rode Perla outside but only saw from the window when he was on Stólpi. Both of them have good leg action, speed on gaits and open and easy tölt. I went outside in this wonderful weather to take pictures of the horses that are here home and I went to three differnet fields. I took pictures of Ofsi, Dalur, Blóma, Glaður, Júní, Kleina, Marra, Óvissa, Spaði, Sparta and Sýning. Just click on their names and than you can see the new pictures. The gray mare you can see for sale here on this page is very nice family/riding mare and our daughter Anna Kristín 6 years old rode her outside today and she had never even seen this mare until she came outside today.
