Two foals with only 15 minutes apart at 22.00 and 22.15 Hæra and Sparta gave birth to siblings. Hæra got stallion foal with big star and one sock , named Stjörnuhófur ( father Hófur ) and Sparta gave birth to blue dun mare foal named Happadís. ( same father )

This is what Stjörnuhófur means in worldfengur :

There are proud and happy owners that are going to bed at farm Hólakot this Saturday evening.

On the night of May 14th  Rauðhetta gave birth to red stallion foal that has bin named Pardus . We are pretty sure that Hæra will give birth tonight and maybe even Kristín also ?

These pictures I got send from Susanne in Sweden of her beautiful stallion foal after Hófur and Vænting that we sold her and she was covered here at Hólakot last spring with Hófur before exsporting last faull. His name is Rigel.

Sletta is SOLD

This weekend the stallion Askur from Víðidal that we owned for 1 1/2 year and sold to Anne Rosendal for her daughter Helle, got 1. price in a breeding show in Germany. Congratulations Anne and Helle. Our Lísa , Nútíð and Ofsi are all his offsprings and all for sale but Undrun and Glaður we will keep.

I finally took pictures of our " new " mare Kamilla and have also added out on our page the newest mare on our farm, Sif .

All of our 10 sheeps have given borth and teh last one was on Monday. Soon few mare will have there foals and we are waiting. Next week Auðbjörn will take 5 mares to a breeding show at Melgerðismelar and the mares are Glíma , Gusa , Nótt , Næla and Skíma . We took Rós ( Rut mother ) and Mánadís to Gígjar from Auðsholtshjáleiga yesterday morning and we are hoping for them to get pregnant quickly. The spring jobs are in full speed now and I am heading out now to  " slóðdraga " the fields I have left and than the fuderlizer will be put on.

Sometime between 01.00-03.30 Blesa gave birth to small dun with star stallion foal. María is though proud and happy. Even though he isnt big he is showing nice things with gaits and mowements only few hours old.

Today we went to Skagafjörður to pick up a new mare we bought recently. I will show you pictures of her later. But as I said this morning Björk had a beautiful mare foal that we named Dalbjörk this morning and when I came home I took pictures of her and Snögg . Than Svarda had two lambs male and female both colourful, what else so only Svarda daughter Sylvía is left to have lambs. Here are pictures of Snögg, Dalbjörk, Tvímáni and there mothers and few sheeps and lambs as well.

A mare is born after Hófur and Snilld and her name is Snögg IS2010264003. Pictures are coming up soon.
