I forgot to show you the pictures of Lillu, Grásu sister after 1. price stallion Dagur from Strandarhöfði, only face pictures because she is very fat and was inside the stable.

It seams now that both Grása and Klettur  are sold and I was making fun of it with Marie and Annika ( Germany ) that all the horses they have ridden are sold, like Dögun, Hreindís and now Grása. But Marie have also ridden Kofri and Randalín and she loves Randalín. I finally took a picture of Annika and Marie now when they where eating breakfast, it is hard to stop them, they are always doing something, really hard working girls there.

Auðbjörn has bin makin new cages inside for the rabbits with help from the girls and on Sunday we moved them into the new cages. I will take pictures of that later. But yesterday when Auðbjörn and the girls where cleaning outside the stables they heard a mjá, mjá, really like crying and found Bangsi down under where the shit from the animals goes and he was all covered in it so much that they couldnt even she he had white noise. He came in for a hot bath and we layed him on heat blanket for recoopering, with all the other patients, Auður, María nd myself, and it worked. Today he will go outside again in the stable where his home is, but Sandra is an house cat.

and Lísa sometimes also gets to visit us inside and here with Auður.

I also forgot to mention that all of our mares are now home from stallions. All sonar pregnnat exept we dont know yet with Rós from Markús ? Gæfa is pregnant with him and Sveifla and Perla with Adam from Ásmundarstaðir. We will have Rós tested later. Than our young stallion Dalur  has bin doing his stuff and already have 17 mares bin verified pregnant by a vet. He got 5 mares that had bin with other stallions and he got 4 of them all pregnant first time arround but one seams to be finished having foals, but we will see later this month though. There are 2 mares with him now the one that is probably finished having foals and another one that I think he has managed to put foal in first time around. So it is a qustion of either 18 or 19 mares for him this year !?

These pictures I got sent recantly from customers of ours. Edgar we sold to Ronja in Denmark, and Inga Vala we sold pregnant to Sweden and this is her stallion foal.

Yesterday, 12th of September, was my mother‘s 60-year birthday. We threw her a surprise birthday with all kinds of stuff to do and it last from 10.00 AM until after midnight.  I took a few pictures that you can see below.

A few days back when Auðbjörn and Maria ( Germany ) rode to take the horses home that have been away on a break for a long time I took pictures of them coming back.

New mare is out on our sale list, Ríma. She was in training here for 2 1/2 month our first summer ( 2007 ) here and I think Tessa trained her and rode her into tölt, is that correct Tessa ? I also took small clip of video of Anna and Auður coming home from the sheep gathering, but they went riding up in the mountain for the very first time.

On Monday we picked up both Sveifla and Perla from the stallion Adam from Ásmundarstaðir and they are both pregnant. Now I exspect a beautiful horse with much speed, high leg action and much mane from Sveifla and I guess Auðbjörn likes the same from Perla. Now only two mares are left to scan and they are Gæfa and Rós from Markús. New pictures are out on Grása and Glampi. Today we will record Glampi and some other horses, so stay with us. Here are pictures of Sveifla and Perla taken on the breeding show this spring before they went to Adam.

Because I was competing myself yesterday I didnt take pictures of the girls or myself on the track, but I did take pictures inside when we got the rewards. Auður, Anna and Ívar where only 3 competing in " pollaflokkur " and Auður and Seimur came in 1. place and Anna and Stormur in second. María was competing with few kids and she came in third place on Randalín and I was competing with few womens and came in third place on Glampi and I was riding him for my very first time and in first place was very good 1. price mare and in second place also a very good mare so I am Glampi did well and can be satisfied with our result.

Just now I got my birthday present from Auðbjörn and the girls and  I got, Snörp from Hólakot. It is so funny that I gave Auðbjörn Næla at his birthday few years ago, and now I own her first offspring and she is very promising, but Næla will be ridden this winter and shown in a breeding show next spring. I also got home made birthday card from Anna Kristín and María made this wonderful photo album for me with pictures of my kids and husband.
