Mabey you dont know but our Auður is a business person for real ! Her uncle, Addi ( Auðbjörn brother ) runs a pig farm and he needed cats to hunts mises for him because the poisen didnt seam to be enough, so he asked if he could get cats here at our farm and the kids own the cats so Auður told him he could get her cat in exchange for a pig so Addi got two female cats( one gave birth to kiddens soon after he got her ) and the girls got 2 female pigs and one male ( castraded ) so everyone was happy. We always let them go outside and they are loose and run all over pæaying having fun. So yesterday when the girls and their father where out riding moving horses back and forward, I took some pictures of them and the pigs. We moved Rós for example and she has now started to show bigger breast so it is getting close, finally. Than we took few pictures of Hespa before she went up in the mountain. Tomorrow it is the big competition for the girs and Auðbjörn.

Can you belive we are still waiting for Rós to give birth......and the summer is over and school starting next week..yes this is it. Now we will move Rós to another field and she will have her foal there, whenever that will be. Glóð is soon going to Denmark to her new owner Hans, and we will train her a bit before she leaves. Dalur has taken on 4 new mares since he has served all his mares perfectly ( 15 mares so far ) and these are mares that had bin with a stallion the whole summer and didnt get pregnant and two are old and one is young and last one normal and her I havent seen in heat and wonder if the vet didnt see her foal in the sonar ? And once again email docent semas to get through to me or my emails dont get through to you, so please to hesitate to MAIL again if no answer comes ! This weekend the girls and Auðbjörn are going to compete at Melgerðismelar and I sure hoep the weather will give us a rest because we still havent bin able to finish our hay, it is always raining and to compete in rain it is not fun at all. Now there are only 3 mares left to check from stallions and that is Gæfa + Markús and Sveifla and Perla both where with Adam, I am sure they are all 3 pregnant already. Still many of our beautiful foals are for sale and new pictures are up of almost everyone of the foals so far. These 3 mares we are also selling all pregnant for teh price off 3000 Euros each but if you buy them all you get better offer. Top pedigree of the mares themselves and the father of the foals.

Today we gathered the horses from the mountain here home to take Glóð because she is sold to Denmark and is leaving next month. I used the oppertunity to take pictures of the foals and I took almost 200 pictures today. First thing first. New boy for the first time a boy working for us, Jaspur from Föreyjar. Than we did finish the hay on our field and we have one big field left but it rains something every day. Today we went to help Einar to sonar from Kompás from Skagaströnd and 11 mares that needed to be tested again from Auður from Lundum. So all of our mares are pregnant so far and only Hespa, Gæfa, Perla and Sveifla are still with stallions and Rós has still not given birth ! Sæla, Toppa and Maríkó where all with Kompás. I hope to be able to take pictures of the 3 foals Hrókur, Kalsi and Nútíð tomorrow and show you, they are all for sale and all big and good looking and exspecially Kalsi. Vonardís and Glóð are both sold and Vonardís started her trip today but she is going to Germany and will fly to Liege the 18th. Glóð will go to Billund in September. Still many, many horses for sale so do contact us.

We where at a family reunion last weekend and it was much fun. We are still waiting for Rós to give birth and it doce not seem to be soon enough, she is supposed to go to Markús from Langholtspartur. On Friday before we left at the reunion we helped our friend to sonar from Auður from Lundum, and all of our mares are pregnant, Rut, Rauðhetta, Reising, Jódís ( mabey for sale ) and Vala ( for sale ).

Now Næla has given birth so we are only waiting for Rós and we dont have a clue when that will happen but hoping soon !? Næla had good looking mare foal that has the name Snörp from Hólakot. She is well raised with long neck and she trots already with good leg action so we are only looking forward to monitor this young lady in the future. Næla will be trained some more this winter and shown in a breeding show next spring. Today we drove Gæfa to Markús from Langholtspartur but he will arrive tomorrow. Rós will also go to him if she will have her foal before Markús leaves again !? Than we have sold Vonardís to Germany to our friend Nicole that bought List from us early this winter/spring and she went through vet check today 100% perfect health.

Now we are finally back again on track with the training and riding or Auðbjörn and the girls are but I rode once yesterday and today I am sick. I did though ran outside to take pictures of them coming home from their first trip today.

Than last weekend we got a new poppy, female named Píla.

On Saturday we had to go to Top reiter riding hall at Akureyri to compete as a team in breeding judgement and we did good and judged two horses both for combination and riding and than a real judgers judged them as well and our score was 0.51 awy from the judgers and third place, not bad. First place was 0.48 and second place was 0.49. Lots of sale horses and we have now decided to offer both Vala http://www.holakot.net/content/view/555/8/ and Þota http://www.holakot.net/content/view/248/8/ for sale and possibly other mares as well ?

Now we are back home or on Sunday. The family reunion was very nice and this was from my motherside but last weekend it will be on my fatherside. I took very few pictures.

And on Sunday it was Helgi 70th years birthday.

And when we came home Branda had given birth to 5 kittens.

We are going away for this weekend on a family reunion, we will be back on Sunday ! Few pictures I took on the sunny 1st of July while the mares and the foals where waiting for the vet to sonar test the mares for you to enjoy.

Today we will sonar from Dalur 4 mares and 9 from Hófur and castrate Kofri. I took pictures of Lísa, Óvissa, Klettur and Djásn yesterday + I took few of Dalur as well.
