Recently a woman in Holland, Marjo, emailed us about some mares and after few emails she decided to buy both Tign and Hreyfing and get them home pregnant next Faull with Garpur from Hvoll. Than soon after that her friend, Wieke,  emailed us and decided to buy Djásn and she will stay here until she is 3 years old. Both Marjo and Wieke have webpages that you can see here. Yes, we are back home. It was a very nice trip we took with our dear friends Einar and Hugga, www.brunir.net   We got to see the new big "health/training clinic " www.holaborg.com + we saw Kvistur from Skagaströnd and his brother Kompás from Skagaströnd and  Siggi Sig. rode Hófur for us and the owner of Glymur from Innri Skeljarbrekka showed us him under a rider. We shopped a little, mostly riding gears and just had fun. We came home on Saturday but we watched the Bautatölt on saturday evening ( so we might say we where not home until sunday ) and many very good horses there but for us the horse that was in third place, Dalur from Háleggsstaðir,  rider Barbara Wensl, was just best and how she rode him so effertless and he always so soft and positive. To put out some pictures with these news I just found something I like. I didnt take the caera with me so....and if you put your mouse over each picture, you know who is on it.

Þota , Blesa and Sveifla are all now pregnant for the first time and Þota and Blesa with our stallion Dalur and Sveifla with Adam from Ásmundarstaðir.

Few new horses are out on our page but not pictures of them all yet. You find Eyvindur and Freyja here, click . And here you find our Parker offsprings, Roði and Kamilla . Tomorrow we are going away for few dyas to Reykjavík and visit some farms maybe on the south. We will have a computer with us so I hope we can answer emails, if not we will do that on Sunday.

Ljómi at his new home. Claudia that bought Ljómi from us send us these pictures and this is what she said in her email as well :

Now I wanted to say thank you soooo much for that fantastic horse!
When we drove to the airport to Liege to fetch Ljómi there, I was so excited.
It was such a strange feeling when I saw him the first time in my life in real and I said to myself "O.k. Claudia... this is your new horse". Nobody has to pinch me. This is actually true and I started smiling :-)))!
Ljómi has very impressive movements and for his age he looks like a gentle giant. He is still quite guarded and reserved but I love him!
It seems so unreal. I can remember when I contacted you the first time. Everytime when I had some questions or wanted to get informations or some new pictures of him you replied immediately and always said that I´m welcome. I always felt welcome!!!
Now I´m so happy because he is here :-)!
I´m proud that I bought a horse from Holakot and I would do it again :-)!

Always something going on. One Parker offspring is sold ( Bratti ) and another one bought instead. Young gelding broken in and is looking good. Auðbjörn rode him already yesterday outside without shoes and he is open for tolt and of course enought trot. We will take pictures and put him out on the page soon. Than we took new video of Glæsir just for fun, no boots and normal shoes. We also took in Gusa after long break and Prinsessa and Næla from having foals. Interesting times ahead. Many interesting and exiting horses are now in the stable.

Bratti is sold and has passed the vet check and the vetenary told us that he rarely has seen as good joins on x-ray like his. A lot is going on in sale buisness now and things will cleer up soon with few horses. The trainings are going very well and many horses trained/ridden every day.  I attach few pictures I took just now outside.

Today we got our computer back from repair. So now I got the chance to put in the video I had  taken of Bratti and Nótt. And Bratti is already "reserved" for a buyer before it went out on our page and no wonder ! But Nótt is for sale and she is very good so take a look at the video of her. Eva has now bin shoed as has Gnótt and both of them ridden outside as well same day and wow, is the best word to describe them and we had bin thinking of maybe selling Eva but now we will first finish the training and show her before even thinking about it.
