Auðbjörn is born and raised  on a farm named Kotá and now it is in Akureyri and the house is Kotárgerði 26 . His parents built a big house next to it in Kotárgerði 30. He has bin involved in animals his whole life for example he and his brothers ( with him as a leader ) they built the biggest pig farm here in the north and it still is. He also started the chicken factory " Íslandsfugl " that he has sold. He has always owned horses or since his parents gave him a mare named Toppa and he still is breeding out of her. For example his mare Hæra is daughter of younger Toppa that was daughter of Þruma and she was daughter of his very  first mare Toppa. Now he is for the first time in his life totally comitted to the horses and only horses. He has always bin working with something else and the horses have bin on the side.
