Hólakot.net - hrossarækt tamningar og sala

Last night our neighbours Kalli and Sigga at Hólum came to visit us and we talked ( mostly about horses ) and we had nice evening togehter. When they left arround 01. clock I looked at  the mares ( like I always do ) Toppa, Gæfa and Náttdís that are in this field closed to our house, and I saw Gæfa standing up and she held her tail a bit far from herself and I thought is she going to have her foal now, and than I saw something trying to get up beside her so she had given birth to her foal already last night while we where talking. We of course rushed out to take pictures and she the gender, I, Aubbi, María and Anna Kristín and for our nice surprise we got red mare with a star and her name will be Glæða. Father is Rökkvi from Hárlaugsstaðir and we are happy that we at least got one mare after him, than there are Díll and Nökkvi.  So we got 8 mares and 7 stallion foals this year. I took also few pictures of Díll and the girls playing with him and he seems to have the super mind that his mother and his siblings have, like Tign and Ýmir ( now in Norway ) for example !
