Today we the whole family and the girls that are working for us went to Melgerðismelar and partispate in competition. We where in all groups or Anna and Auður in " pollar " María Björk in " börn " and Fia in " unglingar " and Hilde in " Ungmenni " and I in " konur " and Auðbjörn in  " menn ". The weather was just awsome and they are exspecting it to be like this as far as they can see. After words we drank and ate this fine cakes. This competition is called " bæjarkeppni " and that is because many of the farms in our valley enter and pay small fee and than we the people that are competing we are drawn and set out to compet for some farm. It is afun and nice comeptition. Anna and Auður both did well and Anna rode Oddur alone and Auður rode Sókrates alone as well. Anna also rode with us with the horses more than half of the way to Einar farm., alone there as well. María Björk was in 6th place on her horse Stormur and Fia came 4th on my horse Sprettur, and than Hilde came 5th on Selur and I came first on Þota and Auðbjörn was 4th on Jódís. So we where all happy about the results. I took few pictures exept when I was competing myself ( than Aubbi took few ).
